The 2020 Date A Live: Ren Dystopia visual novel is coming to Steam this year with English, Japanese, and Traditional Chinese subtitle options. It will be 15% off during launch week.

Originally released for PS4 in Japanese only, Date A Live: Ren Dystopia features an original story that introduces the character Ren (Rie Takahashi). The Steam release will include localizations of the Natsumi Encounter and Origami Friendship audio dramas, while additional goodies will come with the Deluxe Edition.

Those Deluxe Edition-exclusive bonuses include:

• A 13-page Digital Art Collection with character art and rough art
• The official soundtrack (27 tracks)
• The Ren Masques short novel, in Japanese, English, and Traditional Chinese

The IDEA FACTORY-developed title will feature nine routes to tackle and 15 endings to unlock. The animated character portraits are drawn by the light novels’ illustrator, Tsunako.

The official synopsis for Ren Dystopia is:

A newly emergent spirit named Natsumi ends up in the crosshairs of Deus Ex Machina Industry. Shido defends Natsumi from Deus Ex Machina Industry and manages to seal her powers.  Following the transformation and inversion caused by Origami, Shido manages to reshape the world to protect it, eventually sealing Origami.  Enemies may still lurk about, but Shido and his friends savor the peace they’ve secured through their ordeals.  After an ordinary evening spent among friends, Shido has an unusual dream. He hears a mysterious voice calling out from the shadows. Upon waking up the next morning, Shido discovers a peculiar container adorned with a snake pattern under his pillow. Thinking it might be a prank, Shido asks around for the container’s owner. But when they try to open it…

The last Date A Live game that came to Steam was Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation in 2019.
