Black Butler: Public School Arc Reveals New PV, Release Date & More Cast


The official website of the upcoming Black Butler: Public School Arc revealed a new promo video on Feb 16, 2024. The video reveals that the anime will start airing on April 13, 2024.

Moreover, the cast members voicing P4, prefects of the four dormitories of Weston College, were also revealed. Check them out below:

Aniplex describes the plot of the series as:

Butler Sebastian Michaelis works with his 13-year-old master, the earl Ciel Phantomhive, to do the dirty work of “the Queen’s guard dog” in nineteenth century England’s gritty underworld.

One day, Ciel receives a letter from Queen Victoria telling him that several students at Weston College, one of England’s top public schools, have seemingly disappeared… including a relative of hers named Derrick. And so, Sebastian and Ciel infiltrate Weston College to get to the bottom of the matter. What truly happened to these students?

Black Butler is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yana Toboso. It has been serialized in Square Enix’s shonen manga magazine Monthly GFantasy since September 2006.

A 24-episode anime television series adaptation, produced by A-1 Pictures, aired from October 2008 to March 2009. A second 12-episode season aired from July to September 2010; this season featured a butler, Claude Faustus, and his master, Alois Trancy, as well as Sebastian and Ciel and has an anime-original storyline which does not feature manga content.

A third season, titled Black Butler: Book of Circus, was broadcast between July and September 2014.

A two-part theatrical original video animation (OVA), titled Black Butler: Book of Murder, screened in Japanese theaters in October and November 2014. A live-action film adaptation was released in Japan in January 2014. An animated film, titled Black Butler: Book of the Atlantic, premiered in Japan in January 2017.
