Idea Factory has announced that three video games in the Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth series will be released digitally in North America and Europe for the Nintendo Switch in 2024.
The new titles that will be released on the Switch are Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1, Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 2 Sisters Generation, and Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3 V Generation. Nintendo eShop pages for each game will be available at a later date.
Hyperdimension Neptunia series developer Compile Heart announced earlier this week that it would release the Re;Birth titles on the Switch in Japan on May 23, 2024. A triple pack of the games will be sold and the Switch versions will include past DLC as bonus content. The games on will also be released on the PlayStation 4 as a download only title.
The Neptunia: Sisters VS Sisters RPG was released physically and digitally on the Nintendo Switch earlier this past January. The game was also released on the PS4, PS5, and PC via Steam. The Xbox port of the video game was delayed to May 21, 2024 after its initial April 16 release date.
The Neptunia action RPG franchise from Compile Heart began with Hyperdimension Neptunia in 2010. In addition to several video game sequels and spin-offs, the series also inspired a 2013 TV anime series from David Production and three OVA specials from Okuruto Noboru in 2019, 2021, and 2022.
