I’m a Behemoth, an S-Ranked Monster, but Mistaken for a Cat, I Live as an Elf Girl’s Pet was originally a web novel by Nozomi Ginyoku, debuting on Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2017 and on Kakuyomu in 2018. A light novel series illustrated by Mitsuki Yano and published under Micro Magazine’s GC Novels label began in 2018 and has two volumes as of the same year. The Hakusensha-published manga series began serialization in Young Animal Arashi in March 2018 and transferred to Young Animal in July 2018 following the end of the former magazine. The 11th tankoubon volume will be released on March 29, 2024.
Yen Press describes the manga as:
A proud knight, slain in battle, finds himself alive once more-reincarnated in the body of a fearsome behemoth. As if he wasn’t confused enough by this turn of events, apparently behemoth cubs look exactly like adorable kittens?! Even if the rest of the world sees him as soft and cuddly, he has the honor of a noble warrior and the strength of an unstoppable S-ranked monster, both of which will be put to the test as he fights to protect the beautiful elf who has taken him as her pet!
