The Dangers in My Heart finally aired its second season finale today and the original manga artist Norio Sakurai released a special celebratory illustration to mark the occasion. The new illustration features main characters Kyotaro Ichikawa and Anna Yamada in a matching white wedding suit and dress.
Sakurai also posted another illustration of Kyotaro and Anna on her Twitter profile, ahead of the anime’s 25th overall episode between two seasons. The first season ran from April to June 2023.
The second season finale was certainly eventful as it featured the much anticipated confession scene between the two lead characters. A 5-minute excerpt of the moments leading up to that scene was also released by the anime’s production committee.
Season two retained many of the production staff from the first season. Hiroaki Akagi (Teasing Master Takagi-san) is serving as director again, with Jukki Hanada (Love Live! Superstar!!) as series screenwriter and scriptwriter, Masato Katsumata (The Quintessential Quintuplets) as character designer, and Kensuke Ushio (Chainsaw Man) as music composer. Shin-Ei Animation is handling the animation production for the series.
Meanwhile, the main cast includes:

The anime is an adaptation of Sakurai’s romantic comedy manga, which has been serialized in Akita Shoten’s Manga Cross website since July 10, 2018. The series is published under the Shonen Champion Comics label and has released nine tankobon volumes as of November 2023. A 10th volume is due out on April 8, 2024. Seven Seas Entertainment licenses the series in English for North America.
