Crunchyroll Launches First Indian Ad Campaign Featuring Rashmika Mandanna & Tiger Shroff


Crunchyroll has launched its first-ever marketing campaign in India. Titled “Wish Your World Was Anime,” the campaign blends live-action footage with anime sequences, featuring Tiger Shroff and Rashmika Mandanna, both of whom are Crunchyroll’s brand ambassador in India.

The ad campaigns premiered during the Indian Premier League (IPL) and is set to air digitally on JioCinema during TATA IPL matches.

Crunchyroll has also devised an extensive marketing strategy, encompassing out-of-home (OOH) promotions, digital advertising, and social media outreach.

Tilt Brand Solutions spearheaded the creative direction of the ad, while renowned Japanese studios crafted the anime segments, under the creative supervision of Crunchyroll’s Creative Services Team.

Drive Inc. handled the animation ad campaign featuring Rashmika, and features the song “Billo” by Excise Dept.

ARECT, Inc. was in charge of Tiger’s ad video. The background music for Tiger Shroff’s ad was exclusively produced by Donn Bhatt and features rapper Jagsifat.
