During an event for Pony Canyon’s Utagoe wa Mille-Feuille mixed-media music project, it was revealed that the previously announced TV anime series is scheduled for release in 2025.
The project’s main cast includes:

The project was first launched in April 2022 by Pony Canyon and The Oral Cigarettes lead vocalist Takuya Yamanaka. It features the themes of “a cappella singing, high school girls, and complex.”
Yamanaka is also writing the scripts for the anime series. Che-Rico is credited as the original character designer. Pony Canyon is producing the music.
Utagoe wa Mille-Feuille has spawned several music singles, voice drama adaptations, music videos, and documentary videos featuring singing lessons.
The project’s premise follows a young student named Uta, who joins an a capella club led by Airi, after lacking the courage to submit an application for her school’s light music club.
