Classroom of the Elite fans have voted for their most popular character and it is Suzune Horikita, who received two new illustrations in celebration of her top ranking in the series’ latest character popularity poll. The poll was held this past March 2024.
The two new illustrations feature Horikita with both long and short hair. They will be made into merchandise that will be released at a later date.
Classroom of the Elite Season 3 premiered in Japan on January 3, 2024 until March 27, 2024. The first season premiered in 2017, while the second season aired in July 2022. Season three, will complete the adaptation of the light novels’ first-year arc. Crunchyroll is streaming all seasons of the show.
The returning production staff from season two that worked on the third season includes Seiji Kishi and Hiroyuki Hashimoto as chief directors, Yoshihito Nishouji as series director, Hayato Kazano and Kou Shigenobu (Classroom of the Elite II Episode 3, 5 et al. scriptwriter) as series screenwriters, Kazuaki Morita as character designer, and Masaru Yokoyama and Kana Hashiguchi (A3! Season Autumn & Winter co-composer) as music composers. Lerche was in charge of the animation production once again.

The anime is based on the original light novels written by Shogo Kinugasa and illustrated by Shunsaku Tomose that was first published by Media Factory on May 25, 2015 and ended the First Year arc on September 25, 2019. A total of 11 main volumes were released, as well as three short story anthologies. The series also inspired several manga adaptations.
The light novel sequel series titled Classroom of the Elite: Year 2 began publication on January 24, 2020 and has released 11 volumes as of February 2024, with a 12th volume set for release in July 2024.
Seven Seas Entertainment releases the main Classroom of the Elite light novels and its manga adaptation in English, describing the synopsis as:
