Gen Urobuchi x NetEase Games’ Rusty Rabbit Game To Launch on September 24, New Trailer Released

The 2.5D side-scrolling action-adventure game Rusty Rabbits, which has Fate/Zero author and Madoka Magica series composer Gen Urobuchi credited with the original concept and script, will launch on September 24, 2024 for both PlayStation 5 and PC.

Pre-orders for the US$29.99 game will open on June 5, with the reward for doing so being a few days’ early access (only if you’re a PlayStation 5 owner). The early access start date is September 21.

A Story & Characters trailer for Rusty Rabbits, which includes previews of Takaya Kuroda, Fairouz Ai, Show Hayami, Yu Kobayashi, Showtaro Morikubo, Kujira, and Akari Kito‘s voices, was also released.

Rusty Rabbits is developed by NetEase Games in collaboration with Nitroplus. The game takes place on a frozen planet abandoned by humans thousands of years ago, which now has rabbits as the main inhabitants.

The main playable character is Stamp, an old junk-collecting, machine-tinkering rabbit who accidentally ends up in the “lower levels” of the planet. After discovering information about his lost daughter and “a hidden truth about the world” from terminals called D-TAM, he continues to delve into the ruins to “unfold the mysteries surrounding this world.” Stamp pilots a mech called Junkster that can be improved with collected parts and materials, as well as treasures that are guarded by enemies.
