A new PV trailer has been released for the currently airing Sound! Euphonium Season 3, ahead of the anime’s season finale. The third season first aired in Japan on April 7, 2024 and will conclude with the 13th episode on June 30, 2024.
The trailer compiles scenes from past episodes in the third season, as well as snippets from the final episode overall.
Tatsuya Ishihara (Sound! Euphonium) is directing the anime’s third season, with Taichi Ogawa (Sound! Euphonium: Todoketai Melody director, Ensemble Contest) as assistant director, Jukki Hanada (Sound! Euphonium) as series screenwriter, the late Shoko Ikeda (Sound! Euphonium) and Kazumi Ikeda (Ensemble Contest chief animation director) as character designers, Ikeda as chief animation director, Mutsuo Shinohara (Sound! Euphonium) as art director, Akiyo Takeda (Sound! Euphonium) as color designer, Kazuya Takao (Sound! Euphonium) as compositing director, and Akito Matsuda (Sound! Euphonium) as music composer. Kyoto Animation is handling the animation production for the series.
Meanwhile, the anime’s voice cast includes:

- • Haruka Tomatsu as Mayu Kuroe
Sound! Euphonium is based on the novel series by Ayano Takeda, which was published by Takarajimasha from December 5, 2013 to June 22, 2019. Twelve volumes have been released as of June 2019.
A spin-off centered on Natsuki Nakagawa titled Tobitatsu Kimi no Se wo Miageru was released in 2021. A new short story anthology titled Sound! Euphonium: Kitauji Koukou Suisougakubu no Minna no Hanashi was released in Japan on June 27, 2024. Yen Press released the novels in English for North America.
The first season of Sound! Euphonium debuted in 2015. Two film compilations of the first two seasons were also released, as well as the Liz and the Blue Bird spin-off, and 2019’s Sound! Euphonium: Chikai no Finale. A theatrical OVA titled Sound! Euphonium: Ensemble Contest premiered in Japan in August 2023.

The concert band at Kitauji High School has over 90 members. Oumae Kumiko is now the president and does her best with her final high school club activities to try to win her long-desired gold at nationals.
