A new key visual and 12 voice cast members have been revealed for the upcoming I’ll Become a Villainess That Will Go Down in History TV anime series. The anime is set to premiere in Japan in October 2024.
The new additional cast (of which two characters are featured in the visual) includes:

- • Shoya Chiba as Gale Evans
- • Nobuhiko Okamoto as Curtis Kenwood
- • Kazuyuki Okitsu as Arnold Williams
- • Takehito Koyasu as Luke Seeker
They join main cast members Kanna Nakamura as Alicia Williams and Kaito Ishikawa as Duke Seeker.
Yuuji Yanase (My Unique Skill Makes Me OP even at Level 1) is directing the anime, with Sawako Hirabayashi (Delicious Party Precure) as series screenwriter, Yuuko Watanabe (Doctor Elise: The Royal Lady with the Lamp character designer) and Eri Kojima (My Unique Skill Makes Me OP even at Level 1 co-main character designer) as main character designers, and Moe Hyuuga (The Angel Next Door) as music composer. MAHO FILM is in charge of the animation production.
The anime is based on the isekai light novel series written by Izumi Ookido and illustrated by Jyun Hayase. The light novels (also known as Rekishi ni Nokoru Akujo ni Naru zo in Japanese) were first published under Kadokawa’s Enterbrain imprint on August 15, 2019. Six volumes were released as of March 2024. It originally began as a Shosetsuka ni Naro web novel that debuted on December 11, 2018.
The series also inspired a manga adaptation by Akira Hoshi in 2020. Yen Press releases the manga in English for North America.
The story follows a young girl named Alicia, who dislikes being a typical heroine and reincarnates as a villainous noble. As she hones her physical and magical capabilities, she finds that her efforts to villainous instead lead to favorable responses from those around her.
