Milan Records has announced the release of several singles from multiple Summer 2024 anime titles that are now available on music streaming platforms.
The first newly released song is from the mysterious group GEMN, whose single “Fatal” is being used as the main opening theme for OSHI NO KO Season 2. The single began its release with multiple countdowns and weekly updates that slowly revealed new details of GEMN and their song “Fatal.” Tatsuya Kitani wrote the song’s lyrics and composition, while Giga handled the arrangement. Meanwhile, J-rock band Hitsujibungaku’s new song “Burning” is used as the ending theme to OSHI NO KO Season 2. The track arrives after the group’s hit song “more than words,” was used as the ending theme to the latest season of Jujutsu Kaisen. “Burning” can be heard here.
Pop rock star LiSA delivers a new single “Black Box,” which will be used as the new opening theme for the second season of NieR:Automata Ver1.1a. The lyrics and composition are by Hiromu Akita from the band amazarashi, who was credited with creating the ending theme “Antinomy” in the first season. Yoshiaki Dewa assisted with the song’s arrangement. “Black Box” can be heard here.
Lastly, NiziU’s “RISE UP” is currently the new opening theme for Tower of God Season 2. The song can be heard here.
