Ayumu Murase and Ryo Sugisaki are joining the voice cast of the ongoing Tower of God Season 2, who will appear in the anime’s second episode. The second season first premiered in Japan on July 7, 2024.
Murase will voice the character Mule Love, while Sugisaki will voice Rapdevil.
They join the second season’s main cast that includes:

Kazuyoshi Takeuchi (Gekijouban City Hunter: Angel Dust) is serving as the chief director for the second season, with Akira Suzuki as series director, Erika Yoshida (Bocchi the Rock!) as screenwriter and co-scriptwriter with Takeshi Miyamoto (The 8th Son? Are You Kidding Me?) and Riuji Yoshizaki. The Answer Studio is in charge of the animation production for the second season, taking over from Telecom Animation Film that worked on the first season.
Miho Tanino (Blue Thermal, Tower of God season one), Seigo Kitazawa (Gekijouban City Hunter: Angel Dust), and Isamitsu Kashima are the co-character designers, with Kitazawa also credited as chief animation director, Yusuke Ikeda (D4DJ All Mix) as art director, and Kevin Penkin (The Apothecary Diaries) as music composer.
Yoshida, Tanino, and Penkin returned from the first season of Tower of God to work on the second season.
The anime is based on the Tower of God webtoon manhwa series by SIU, which was released on June 30, 2010 on the WEBTOON platform and is currently on “Season 3.” The series is available in the U.S. via WEBTOON as of July 2014. In addition to the digital version, Wattpad publishes the series as a graphic novel under its WEBTOON Unscrolled imprint, with the fourth volume being released in June 2024.
