KADOKAWA revealed its its top-performing IP for the first quarter of 2024 (April-June), with Dungeon Meshi (Delicious in Dungeon) taking the lead by a wide margin.
The company reported that the IP generated over 2 billion yen in revenue across all media, including publishing, anime, and licensing, although the exact figure was not disclosed.
Dungeon Meshi topped the rankings in both the publishing and IP creation segment, as well as the anime production segment, earning more than twice the sales of the second-place IP.
Coming in second was KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World!, which brought in close to 1 billion yen in sales.
Despite being licensed from another company, the anime adaptation of Oshi no Ko secured the third position, solely based on its anime revenue.
