In a statement shared by Eiichiro Oda on Aug 20, it was revealed that the much anticipated One Piece Live-Action season 2 will cover Loguetown, Reverse Mountain (Twin Cape), Whiskey Peak, Little Garden, and Drum Island.
Fans of the series will recognize Loguetown as the town where Gol D. Roger was executed, Reverse Mountain as the gateway to the Grand Line, and Drum Island as the setting where Tony Tony Chopper joins the Straw Hat Pirates.
Additionally, fans were relieved that the showrunners were not trying to squeeze in Alabasta arc into the Second Season of the live action.
While Oda expressed excitement at how the production of the show was ongoing, he also joked about the considerable costs involved in bringing these beloved arcs and settings to life.
Despite the challenges, Oda reassured fans that the integrity of the story was a top priority for the team.
While praising the team for bringing the world of One Piece to life, Oda also revealed that more cast members, including Vivi and Chopper, will be announced starting Aug 21, 2024 and will continue for three days.

Yes, the live-action One Piece is currently in production, with filming well underway. The story will cover Loguetown, Reverse Mountain (Twin Cape), Whiskey Peak, Little Garden, and Drum Island!
Think about it. Imagine how much it’ll cost! Lol.
But whether it’s the script or the cast, I continue to insist on this or that, which makes Matt the showrunner go “Aaarrgh!” and Netflix go “Noooo!” and Tomorrow Studios goes “Whaaaat” as they all pull their hairs out. All that, even though we grew so close making Season 1.
But it’s because we all share the same passion for this show! Just as with last season, they’ve gone out of their way to promise that they won’t put the show out until I’m satisfied. This isn’t in the contract, you know. It’s a verbal pledge.
I hope you can appreciate how amazing and determined they are for keeping their word. And they’ve certainly proven their ability to bring this world to the screen. I just can’t wait to see it!

You may wonder, what was the inspiration behind that kingdom? How would it connect to the real world?
