COVER Corp has announced a new project called ENigmatic Recollection, which will feature the members of hololive English in a “collection of stories.”
“Through streams, animations, and songs wrought anew, immerse yourself in fresh narratives woven from myriad realms beyond,” says COVER’s announcement.
More details will be revealed in a stream that will take place on the official hololive English YouTube channel on August 30 at 7PM PDT. For now, the initial announcement mentions that the project’s “first chapter” is an “original fantasy world” that has “been developed in a sandbox game format,” and that the stories will be affected by the “decisions and actions” of the 19 hololive English members.
There’s also an ENigmatic Recollection launch trailer (storyboarded and directed by Mononogatari assistant director Takahiro Okawa and produced by VIGORE Inc.), a visual, and a lore description that reads:
Once upon a time, the girls are summoned to the mysterious land of Libestal.
Unable to remember anything from before their arrival, they become entangled in the land’s conflicts.
The girls are asked to defend Libestal from looming danger, and are thus entrusted with its fate.
Ominous creatures—-
ENigmatic stories lost within the land—–
What fate awaits them at the end of it all?
Expect a grand tale of adventure and valor starring all 19 hololive English members!
ENigmatic Recollection will be promoted at Anime NYC 2024 via a special wall display at the hololive production booth, and attendees who visit the booth will receive free ENigmatic Recollection stickers. Followers of hololive English’s social media will additionally get an ENigmatic Recollection shopper bag.
A hololive English RPG Personality Quiz has also been launched to commemorate the new project’s launch.
