One Piece Live-Action Season 2 Casts Charithra Chandran As Miss Wednesday/Vivi


The official X account of One Piece announced that Charithra Chandran has been cast as Nefertari Vivi, who goes by the codename Miss Wednesday, for the upcoming second season of the live-action adaptation.

Charithra, who is best known for her role in Netflix’s Bridgerton, expressed her excitement in a video accompanying the announcement.

Hey guys! I am so excited to be joining the cast of One Piece, and I feel incredibly grateful to Oda-sensei for trusting me with the role of Vivi. I know how much she means to all of you and I’m going to work my hardest to do her justice and make you all proud. See you soon.

One Piece Live-Action Season 2 will air in 2025, and will cover arcs from Loguetown to Drum Island.

  • Sendhil Ramamurthy as Nefertari Cobra

Additionally, Joe Tracz has also joined the team as the new writer, executive producer, and co-showrunner alongside Matt Owens.

Season 1 of One Piece live-action adaptation premiered in Netflix on Aug 31, 2023.

Netflix is exclusively streaming the series, produced by Tomorrow Studios, a partnership between producer Marty Adelstein and ITV Studios.

The first season of the series was the most watched title on Netflix in the second half of 2023.
