Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Freedom is returning to Japanese theaters for a limited time with a “special version” that “updates” over 500 cuts.
There will be two screening periods for the updated version of Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Freedom, and each features a different, newly-added epilogue. The first screening period is September 20 to October 3 JST, and the other is November 1 to November 14 JST.
Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Freedom originally premiered in Japan on January 26 JST. 4DX, MX4D, and Dolby Cinema screenings started on February 9 JST. The movie is a sequel to 2002-2003’s Mobile Suit Gundam Seed and 2004-2005’s Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny TV series, and is also the highest-grossing Gundam film.
