Haigakura Anime’s Main Trailer Released


A main trailer has been released for the upcoming Haigakura TV anime adaptation.

In addition to the new preview, the anime, which is set to premiere in October, received its fifth cast announcement news drop. The newly announced voice actors are Junko Takeuchi as the younger version of protagonist Ichiyou, Akira Sasanuma as Shungei, Tatsumaru Tachibana as Gaishi, Atsushi Tamaru as Gas Mask, and Kazutomi Yamamoto as Usagi Kamen.

Haigakura is based on the Ichijinsha-published manga by Shinobu Takayama, which started in 2008 and is currently serialized on Zero Sum Online. It follows the “kashikan” Ichiyou, who is tasked with finding and retrieving the gods that escaped from his country. The manga has 16 tankoubon volumes as of August 2023.
