Riko Nagase expressed her excitement about the role, stating, “I’m Riko Nagase, playing the role of Marin Kitagawa. When I first read the original manga, I found Wakana’s earnestness and Marin’s charm to be really striking. When I met with the director, we discussed the importance of preserving the dynamic between the two characters. They may seem like complete opposites, but they share some similarities, and I want to carefully depict how they evolve through cosplay. Marin may appear flashy, but she has a delicate heart, and I’m really excited to enjoy portraying her. The cosplay hair, makeup, and costumes are also incredibly vibrant, so please look forward to the show!

Kouta Nomura also shared his comment, stating, “I’m Kouta Nomura, playing the role of Wakana Gojo.
The manga features the bright and spirited Marin, who knows her own mind, and Wakana, who is shy, serious, and pure but gives his all to everything he does. Their interactions, despite their differing personalities, are adorable and heartwarming, and I found them to be incredibly cute and entertaining. This story really helped me reappreciate the importance of recognizing and embracing what you love. I hope the drama adaptation of Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru will become a beloved work for everyone, so I’d be thrilled if you could watch it warmly!

Koji Shintoku will serve as the director, with Satoko Okazaki handling the scripts.
