The Japanese Twitter account of Amazon Prime Video announced this week that the Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc. TV anime series will be streaming globally on its service, starting on October 5, 2024. Amazon is releasing the series under the abbreviated title Magilumiere Co. Ltd.
The anime series will also stream on other services in Japan at a later date, while it will be broadcasted on Japanese TV on October 4, 2024.

It was not announced whether the global streaming rights on Amazon Prime are exclusive to the service.
Masahiro Hiraoka (Kakegurui Twin and One Punch Man Season 2 CG director) is directing the anime, with Shingo Nagai (Girly Air Force series screenwriter and co-scriptwriter) as screenwriter and scriptwriter, Hidehiro Asama (Pokémon Card Game CM, Kakegurui Twin CG layout artist) as character designer, and Makoto Miyazaki (Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead) as music composer. Studio MOE and J.C.STAFF are in charge of the animation production.
Meanwhile, the anime’s main voice cast includes:

- • Yumiri Hanamori as Hitomi Shigaya
- • Rikiya Koyama as Koji Shigemoto
- • Daiki Yamashita as Kazuo Nikoyama
- • Ryota Osaka as Kaede Midorikawa
The anime is based on the magical girl manga series, written by Sekka Iwata and illustrated by Yu Aoki. It was first serialized on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ website and app on October 20, 2021 and has released 12 tankobon volumes as of June 2024. A 13th volume is due out on September 4, 2024 and a 14th volume will be released on October 4, 2024. The manga is also published in English digitally on the Manga PLUS platform.
VIZ Media releases the Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc. manga in English, describing the main synopsis as:
Kana Sakuragi is an excellent candidate for the job. Any job! She’s motivated and organized, and has a fantastic memory. So why has she interviewed at over 15 companies without receiving a single offer? She’s trying to keep a positive attitude, but it seems like her bad luck is only getting worse when a monster crashes her latest interview.
