A consecutive two-cour TV anime adaptation of the I Left my A-Rank Party to Help My Former Students Reach the Dungeon Depths! (A-Rank Party o Ridatsushita Ore wa, Moto Oshiekotachi to Meikyuu Shinbu o Mezasu) light novel series will begin airing in January 2025. A teaser trailer and visual have been released.
Katsumi Ono (Hypnosimic –Division Rap Battle– Rhyme Anima, Symphogear) is directing the anime at BN Pictures with Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Shangri-la Frontier) as series composer and screen writer, Masakazu Yamazaki (Birdie Wing -Golf Girls’ Story- co-sub character designer) as character designer and co-chief animation director, and Akira Kikuchi (Birdie Wing -Golf Girls’ Story-) as action animation director.
The cast includes Hiromu Mineta as Yuke, Hana Inami as Marina, Natsumi Kawaida as Silk, and Nene Hieda as Rain.
The I Left my A-Rank Party to Help My Former Students Reach the Dungeon Depths! light novel series is written by Kosuke Unagi and illustrated by Super Zombie. It began in June 2021 and has three volumes as of July 2022. KADOKAWA publishes it under the K Ranove Books imprint.
The books have inspired a manga adaptation by Yuri, which Kodansha USA describes as:
