October 6 JST has been announced as the premiere date for the If My Wife Became an Elementary School Student anime adaptation. A main trailer for the show has also been released.
If My Wife Became an Elementary School Student is based on the manga by Yayu Murata, which began serialization in Houbunsha’s Weekly Manga TIMES in 2018 and was originally a one-shot. The premise involves the main character encountering an elementary school girl who claims to be his deceased wife.
The manga released its 14th and final tankoubon volume in March 2023 and has inspired a 2022 live-action drama adaptation.
