A new collaboration visual has been released for the Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online II and I May Be a Guild Receptionist, but I’ll Solo Any Boss to Clock Out on Time anime series.
The visual features both protagonists from the two respective series with swapped weapons. Llenn is featured with a giant mallet on the left, while Alina wields a pink submachine-gun.

Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online will premiere its second season in Japan on October 4, 2024. The series is a spinoff of Sword Art Online, with the first season airing April 2018 to June 2018. A-1 Pictures is credited with the animation production for the series after Studio 3Hz transferred its operations there.
The anime is based on the light novel series by Kino’s Journey author Keiichi Sigsawa, which includes illustrations by Kouhaku Kuroboshi and was first published by ASCII Media Works on December 10, 2014. Thirteen volumes have been released as of March 2023, with a 14th volume due out on October 10, 2024.
Crunchyroll streamed the first season and describes the synopsis as:
In the world of guns and steel that is Gun Gale Online, LLENN has been a devoted, female solo player. She is obsessed with two things: donning herself entirely in pink and honing her skills with consistent game play. She soon discovers her love for hunting other players (a.k.a. PK), soon to be known as the “Pink Devil.” Meanwhile, LLENN meets a beautiful yet mysterious player, Pitohui, and the two click right away. Doing as she is told by Pitohui, she enters the Squad Jam group battle.
Meanwhile, I May Be a Guild Receptionist will premiere in January 2025, with CloverWorks in charge of the animation production.
The anime is based on the light novel series by writer Mato Kousaka and illustrator Gaou, and was first published by ASCII Media Works on March 10, 2021. Eight volumes have been released as of August 2024.
Yen Press releases the light novels and manga adaptation in English, describing the synopsis as:
Alina Clover signed up to be a receptionist for the Adventurers Guild thinking it would be her ticket to the good life. Unfortunately, her dream gig turns into an overtime nightmare whenever the adventurers get stuck clearing a dungeon. To save herself from a mountain of paperwork, Alina takes to beating down monsters herself to solve the problem! Now she just needs to keep her activities a secret…
