The 2D dark fantasy metroidvania Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist, which is currently in Early Access on Steam, will have its 1.0 launch on January 22, 2025. In addition to Steam, the full release will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
The digital version of Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist will cost US$24.99. There will also be a physical edition, which is going up for pre-order in Japan “soon.” For other regions, details about the physical edition will be revealed later.
An announcement trailer for the upcoming full release, previewing the game’s combat, bosses, and foreboding environments, was released as well.
Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist launched in Early Access on March 25, 2024 as the sequel to 2021’s Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights. The story is set “decades” after its predecessor in the Land of Fumes, where the protagonist Lilac, after awakening in a laboratory, has to use her powers as an Attuner to save artificial beings called Homunculi. The Homunculi were created to assist in developing the kingdom, but turned feral due to the effects of toxic underground Fumes.
The 1.0 release promises “35 hours of content” with “all-new bosses to purify, fresh abilities to combine for custom playstyles, and mysterious biomes to explore.” The bosses that Lilac defeats become allies, allowing her to make use of the abilities they provide.
