The I’m Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class (Class no Daikirai na Joshi to Kekkon) TV anime adaptation has received its first trailer. Fans of romantic comedies involving lead characters who initially dislike each other will get to see plenty of interpersonal friction in the preview, with glimpses of some cute romantic moments later on.
More cast members were also announced for I’m Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class. They include Sayumi Suzushiro as Himari Ishikura, Nene Hieda as Shisei Hojo, Hochu Otsuka as Tenryu Hojo, and Fumi Hirano as CHiyo Sakuramori.
Additionally, new theme song details reveal Hinaki Yano as the artist for ending theme song “Suki Kirai swmo Oikoshite). Yano is performing in-character as female protagonist Akane Sakuramori.
I’m Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class is based on the romantic comedy light novels written by Seiju Amano and illustrated by Nanami Narumi. The premise of the MF Bunko J series sees Saito Hojo being married to his classmate and worst enemy, Akane Sakuramori. The light novels started in December 2020 and have nine volumes as of August 2024.
There is also a manga adaptation by Mosukonbu and an online voiced manga on YouTube. Narumi and Mosukonbu both have original character designer credits for the anime.
