Blue Lock unveiled a new trailer for the upcoming second season of the anime, titled “BLUE LOCK vs. U-20 JAPAN,” on Sep 17, 2024.
The trailer reveals and previews the ending theme song for Blue Lock season 2.
Jpop band Snow Man performed the ending theme song ‘One’.
Daisuke Sakuma from Snow Man expressed his excitement on being a part of the anime. Check out his comment below:
I am honored to be in charge of the ending theme song for Blue Lock. Since I became a fan of Blue Lock after watching the anime, I am truly happy to be able to add something special to this amazing work.
The ending theme song “One” is a medium-tempo ballad, with each member of Snow Man singing their part in sequence. It’s a song that conveys a burning fighting spirit, dreams, and “ego”—bluer and more intense than red—within a quiet melody. I believe it’s a perfect fit for the Blue Lock universe.
I’m already excited to see what kind of ending animation will accompany the song!
The opening theme song, Boujaku no Charisma, is performed by UNISON SQUARE GARDEN.
Blue Lock anime season 2 is scheduled to start airing on Oct 5, 2024, and will run for 14 episodes. It will also premiere globally on Crunchyroll on the same day.
Season 1 of the anime adaptation produced by Eight Bit aired from October 2022 to March 2023. An anime film adaptation based on the Episode Nagi manga premiered in April 2024.
