The North American manga publisher Viz Media announced at its Comic-Con International panel that it will release A Devil and Her Love Song (Akuma to Love Song) manga and The Earl and the Fairy (Hakushaku to Yōsei) manga under its Shojo Beat imprint next year.
Viz will also publish a new Bleach character book next March, as well as manga box sets for Pokémon – Diamond and Pearl Adventures (October), The Legend of Zelda, and Fullmetal Alchemist.
A Devil and Her Love Song (Akuma to Love Song)
The manga follows Maria Kawai, a girl who is expelled from the prestigious St. Katoria Girls’ School and transfers to the Totsuka School. Her brutally honest words and manners isolate her from the rest of her classmates.
The Earl and the Fairy (Hakushaku to Yōsei)
Set in Victorian-era England, the light novels and the manga they inspired follow a 17-year-old named Lydia Carlton whose fascination with fairies led to her nickname, the “Fairy Doctor”.
