Milk Morinaga (known for tha manga “Girlfriends”) and Chihiro Miya (manga creator), will start Gakuen Poriiche (School Police) and Kikaijikake no Merudiina (Mechanical Meldina), beginning in the June issue of Futabasha’s Comic High! magazine on May 22.
Gakuen Poriiche (School Police) Manga
Morinaga’s school police story will have a yuri theme. Her previous yuri manga Kuchibiru Tameiki Sakurairo (Kisses, Sighs, and Cherry Blossom Pink) ended in the February issue of the magazine, which also revealed that she would start a new series in the June issue.
Kikaijikake no Merudiina (Mechanical Meldina) Manga
Miya’s “steampunk and retro-future” story will center on a girl named Merudiina who dislikes humans and only opens her heart to machines. Her life begins to change one day when she happens to find a huge abandoned machine.
