‘Attack On Titan: THE LAST ATTACK’ Movie Announced

The official website of Attack On Titan has announced that the series is getting a compilation film featuring the final season’s final part 1 and 2 of the anime which were released as two one hour episodes.

The compilation movie, titled Attack on Titan: THE LAST ATTACK, it is set to hit the Japanese theatres on Nov 8, 2024.

The film will be a re-edited version featuring enhanced visuals and a 5.1ch surround sound mix, all compiled into a 145-minute feature film.

It will feature the theme song by Linked Horizon, “Two Thousand Years… Or Perhaps… To You After Twenty Thousand Years…,” originally featured in the second part of Attack on Titan’s The Final Season Final Part.

Director Yuichiro Hayashi shared his excitement for the film’s release, stating, “I’m thrilled to finally be able to make this announcement. Please don’t say, ‘I can always watch the Final Part online!’ From the beginning, I storyboarded this with the intention of it being viewed as a single movie. Being given the opportunity to have everyone watch it in the best possible environment—the theater—feels like I’ve achieved a long-cherished dream. We’re also working on updating the visuals further. Please “experience” the Rumbling in the cinema!

A visual and a teaser PV were revealed to commemorate the announcement.
