Digimon Xros Wars anime to be streamed by Crunchyroll

Crunchyroll announced on Wednesday that it will simulcast the Digimon Xros Wars television anime series in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand starting next week.

Toei Animation’s 54-episode Digimon Xros Wars television anime series aired from 2010-2011. The second year of the series, titled Digimon Xros Wars: Toki o Kakeru Shōnen Hunter-tachi, began airing on October 2.In its second year, the anime is “hyper-evolving” with a new world, new friends, and new Digimon creatures, although it is still revolving around the main character Taiki and his friends. In particular, the new year is dealing with a secret hidden in the gap between the real and digital worlds. The anime is introducing a mysterious new boy named Tagiru Akashi who will hold the key to the story. Other new Xros Loader-wielding human Digimon partners, who may be friend or foe, will be introduced such as a Ryōma Mogami and Airu Suzaki.
