Fruits Basket The Final, the latest stage play adaptation of Natsuki Takaya’s Fruits Basket, unveiled six new visuals showcasing the cast members in their character costumes on Aug 22, 2024.
This latest release completes the set of visuals for all 16 actors involved in the production.

Fruits Basket The Final stage play will run from Oct 18-27, 2024, at Hulic Hall Tokyo.
Fruits Basket is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Natsuki Takaya. It was serialized in the semi-monthly Japanese shojo manga magazine Hana to Yume, published by Hakusensha, from 1998 to 2006.
Takaya began a sequel titled Fruits Basket Another in September 2015, and the spin-off series The Three Musketeers Arc in April 2019.
Gekidan Studio Life, an all-male theater company, announced plans in 2008 to create a stage adaptation of Fruits Basket featuring exclusively debuting actors. The production opened at Tokyo’s Galaxy Theater on February 25, 2009, and ran for two weeks.
In 2022, another stage play adaptation titled Fruits Basket The Stage debuted at Tokyo’s Nihonbashi Mitsui Hall, running from March 4th to 13th. A sequel to this production was staged from October 6th to 15th, 2023.
The original manga was first adapted into a 26-episode anime television series in 2001, produced by Studio Deen and directed by Akitaro Daichi.
A reboot anime television series adaptation, by TMS Entertainment and directed by Yoshihide Ibata, premiered from April 2019, with its first season airing from April to September 2019, its second season airing from April to September 2020, and its third and final season airing from April to June 2021.
A compilation film titled Fruits Basket: Prelude premiered theatrically in Japan in February 2022.
