JManga, a platform for reading legal manga online, added the first volume of Hiromu Arakawa’s (Fullmetal Alchemist, Silver Spoon) Hyakushō Kizoku (Noble Farmer) autobiographical manga on Tuesday. The manga follows Arakawa as she worked as a farmer in Hokkaido for seven years before she became a manga creator.
Viz Media published the 27th and final Fullmetal Alchemist manga volume last month. Yen Press is publishing Arakawa’s Hero Tales manga. Arakawa launched her Gin no Saji (Silver Spoon) farming school manga in April 2011. The manga was recently nominated for the 2012 Manga Taisho awards.
