Aniple USA announced at its panel at Otakon, that it has licensed Hiroyuki Imaishi and Trigger’s battle action anime Kill la Kill. The company added it plans to stream the anime series this fall, and also has plans to release the series on home video.
Trigger’s first original television anime reunites Imaishi (Dead Leaves, Gurren Lagann, Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt) with head writer Kazuki Nakashima (Gurren Lagann, Nodame Cantabile: Finale, Re: Cutie Honey). In addition, acclaimed animator Sushio (animation director on Gurren Lagann and Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt, character designer on Engage Planet Kiss Dum) is designing the characters.

Kill La Kill plot:
