More Than 1000 One Piece Chapters To Be Exhibited On A Tokyo Museum Wall


One Piece fans are in for a treat, as PLAY! MUSEUM in Tachikawa, Tokyo, will host the ‘ONE PIECE ONLY‘ exhibition, featuring a massive display of the manga panels.

The announcement was made by the official X account of One Piece on Aug 27, 2024.

According to the announcement, the exhibit will showcase every page from chapters 1 to 1110 of the series on a 140-meter-long wall.

The exhibit is set to launch on Oct 9, 2024, with ticket sales beginning on Sep 1.

Eiichiro Oda started serializing One Piece manga on Shueisha’s shonen manga magazine Weekly Shonen Jump since July 1997, with its chapters compiled in 109 tankobon volumes as of July 2024.

The manga holds the Guinness Record for the most copies published for the same comic book series by a single author. This record was first verified in 2015 and confirmed again in 2022.

The One Piece anime by Toei Animation began airing on Oct. 20, 1999, nearly two years after the manga debuted. Since then, it has become one of the most iconic anime series in history establishing a legendary status for itself.

The anime holds the Guinness World Record for the most DVDs released by a serial anime TV program.

A remake of the anime by WIT Studio, titled THE ONE PIECE, is currently under production. The staff members and first look of the anime was also revealed during the ONE PIECE DAY ’24 event.
