Another character trailer for the upcoming 2.5 Dimensional Seduction anime has been released. The new video spotlights Mayuri Hanyu, a teacher at the school of the main characters who was once one of the Four Heavenly Queens of cosplay: Mayura.
M.A.O is the voice actor for Mayuri.
2.5 Dimensional Seduction will begin airing this July. The show is based on the Shueisha-published cosplay-themed romantic comedy manga by Yuu Hashimoto, which began serialization on Shonen Jump+ in 2019 and has 19 tankoubon volumes as of January 2024. Seven Seas Entertainment describes the plot as:
“I have no interest in real girls!” So claims Okumura, the president of the school’s manga club. He’s your typical otaku, obsessed with a sexy (fictional) 2D manga character known as Liliel. Then the new school year starts, and a (real!) 3D girl named Lilysa whose passion is cosplay joins the club. Lilysa convinces Okumura to become her photographer–and guess who her favorite manga character is? Not only that, but Lilysa is into modeling the fetishy stuff! The boundaries between 2D and 3D start to blur as this hot-blooded romantic comedy unfolds.
