A Call of Duty Warzone/Modern Warfare III trailer previewing the FPS games’ new Gundam cosmetic content has been released.
The video gives us 50 seconds of human-sized mobile suits (alternatively, mobile suit cosplayers) sprinting, rolling, and jumping around the streets of a Japanese city, while tacticool camera angles show off various Gundam-themed charms and colorful skins, including one that has illustrations of Suletta and Miorine from Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury.
There’s also a few shots of the mobile suits unleashing melee attacks on hapless regular-garbed soldiers, with the Gundam Aerial favoring kicks while the Zaku II delivers sweeping strikes with its ax.
The MS-06S Zaku II Tracer Pack is now available in the Call of Duty store, while the RX-78-2 Gundam and XVX-016 Gundam Aerial packs will arrive on June 3 and 5, respectively. To recap, the packs contain three Blueprints, a Calling Card, an Emblem, as well as differing amounts of Loading Screens, Weapon Stickers, Weapon Charms, and Large Decals. The RX-78-2 and Zaku II Tracer Packs also have Finishing Moves.
The Gundam collaboration is part of Modern Warfare III‘s Season 4, which kicked off on May 29 at 9 AM PT. Aside from the cosmetics, there will be a Mobile Suit Gundam Legends event from June 5 to June 19 with XP boosts for players with the RX-78-2, Zaku II, or Aerial skins. Players can use this XP to obtain “Gundam-themed rewards.”
Aside from Modern Warfare III and Warzone, which are available on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC via Battle.net and Steam, the Gundam packs can also be found in Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile.
