The main trailer for A Salad Bowl of Eccentrics has been released. It includes a preview of the cast and the opening theme “Gif ni Ted” by Wanuka and reveals the show’s April 4 (effectively April 5 at 1:28 AM JST) premiere date.
A Salad Bowl of Eccentrics is based on the Shogakukan-published light novels written by Yomi Hirasaka and illustrated by Kantoku. In the series, an impoverished detective called Sosuke Kaburaya encounters Sara, a magic-wielding princess from another world. As Sara quickly acclimates to modern-day Japan, Livia, a knight from Sara’s original world, becomes homeless in ours but finds unexpected enjoyment in her days. Sara and Livia’s positive attitudes end up having an effect on not just Sosuke, but other oddballs like a fiendish lawyer, a relationship destroyer, and a religious leader.
The light novel series began in October 2021 and has six volumes as of February 19, 2024. It is published under the Gagaga Bunko label. There is a manga adaptation by Koutarou Yamada.
