The Neet Kunoichi to Nazeka Dousei Hajimemashita manga is getting an anime. Hisashi Saitou (Kuroitsu-san from the Monster Development Department) is directing the series at Quad.
The story is about an ordinary salaryman who finds himself cohabitating with a prodigious shinobi — who is also an otaku neet — after being saved by her. Hinaki Yano is playing the kunoichi, Shizuri Ideura, while Shouya Ishige is the salaryman Tsukasa Atsumi. Shigeru Chiba is the show’s narrator.
The series composition is from Takashi Aoshima (The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You), the character designs from Masahiko Suzuki (Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs), and the music from CMJK.
The Neet Kunoichi to Nazeka Dousei Hajimemashita manga is written and drawn by Kotatsu, with Mato Yakito credited for name cooperation. It first began serialization on Niconico Douga and Twitter in 2020. KADOKAWA publishes tankoubon volumes under Dengeki Comics EX label. There are 10 tankoubon volumes as of March 2023.
