Netflix and Riot Games have revealed the first official trailer and new images for the upcoming second season and final chapter of Arcane. The second season will premiere on the streaming service in November 2024.
The official trailer features a new single from singer-songwriter Ashnikko titled “Paint The Town Blue,” which will be included on the second season’s original soundtrack.
Netflix also teased that more Arcane news will be revealed during the company’s Geeked Week Live Fan Event on September 19, 2024.
The first season contained nine episodes and were released in three parts respectively in 2021 on November 6, November 13, and November 20. GKIDS acquired the home video and digital rights of the first season. The animated series is part of the overall League of Legends universe.
Fortiche Productions is in charge of the animation production for the series, with Riot Games credited with the creative supervision. The second season was originally scheduled to release in 2023, but was delayed.
Christian Linke and Alex Yee serve as creators for the animated series. Pascal Charrue and Arnaud Delord co-directed several episodes of the series.
Meanwhile, the main voice cast for season two (with more to be announced later) include:

Arcane has won several awards and accolades, including “Best Adaptation” at The Game Awards and “Outstanding Animated Program” at the Primetime Emmy Awards. It was also honored at the Annie Awards.
Netflix describes the main premise of Arcane as:
Set in the utopian region of Piltover and the oppressed underground of Zaun, the story follows the origins of two iconic League champions-and the power that will tear them apart.
