A new 90-second main PV trailer has been revealed for the upcoming Blue Lock -Episode Nagi- anime film, which is set to premiere in Japan on April 19, 2024.
Shunsuke Ishikawa (Blue Lock co-director) is directing the anime film, with Taku Kishimoto (Blue Lock series composer) as screenwriter and scriptwriter, Munemuki Kaneshiro as story supervisor, Yuu Shindou (Fruits Basket 2019) and Sorato Shimizu (Gegege no Kitaro 2018) as character designers, and Jun Murayama (Blue Lock) as music composer. Eight Bit is in charge of the animation production.
Meanwhile, the film’s voice cast includes:

Blue Lock -Episode Nagi- is based on the Blue Lock spin-off manga of the same name, which is from the perspective of Seishiro. The manga was first serialized in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine on June 9, 2022. Three tankoubon volumes have been released as of September 2023, with a 4th volume due out on April 17, 2024.
The main Blue Lock manga series started serialization in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine on August 1, 2018 and is published under the Kodansha Comics label. It has released 27 tankoubon volumes as of December 2023, with a 28th volume set for release on March 15, 2024. Both Blue Lock and -Episode Nagi- are written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro, and illustrated by Yuusuke Nomura and Kota Sannomiya, respectively.
A 24-episode Blue Lock anime adaptation premiered in October 2022. A second season has recently been announced.
Kodansha USA releases the original Blue Lock manga in English in North America and describes the main story as:
