Yuu Toyota’s original manga series was first serialized digitally on Square Enix’s Gangan Pixiv web magazine on September 1, 2018. Thirteen tankoubon volumes have been released as of December 2023. Square Enix has released the manga in English since 2020.
The boys’ love manga inspired a live-action TV drama that ran on TV Tokyo from October 9, 2020 to December 24, 2020. It also inspired a drama CD adaptation in 2019 and a Chinese radio drama in 2022.
A live-action film that serves as a sequel to the TV drama premiered in Japanese theaters on April 8, 2022. Toyota donated a portion of the adaptation rights fee for the film to Marriage for All Japan — an organization that advocates same-sex marriage rights in Japan.
