A TV anime adaptation of the Clevatess – Majuu no Ou to Akago to Shikabane no Yuusha- fantasy manga has been announced with a trailer, teaser visual, and main staff and cast details.
Kiyotaka Taguchi (SSSS.DYNAZENON Ep 5 kaiju designer) is directing the fantasy anime at Lay-duce with Keigo Koyanagi (Brave Bang Bravern) as series composer, Sochiro Sako (Buddy Daddies) as character designer, and Nobuaki Nobusawa (Mr. Villain’s Day Off) as music composer.
The main cast includes Haruka Shiraishi as Alicia, Mutsumi Tamura as Kren, and Yuichi Nakamura as Clevatess.
In Clevatess, 13 heroes are sent to subjugate the titular beast king, who has has in his possession a legendary sword. Among the 13 is Alicia, who has idolized heroes from a young age. However, their actions invite the potential devastation of humanity, and the world’s last hope is a human baby that is entrusted to Clevatess.
The original manga by King of Thorn‘s Yuji Iwahara began serialization on LINE Manga in August 2020. The series has been compiled into seven digital volumes as of April 2024.
