A March 12 premiere date, key visual, and trailer have been revealed for the upcoming Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc.
Hashira Training Arc was announced last June after the end of the previous season, Swordsmith Village Arc. It will have an hour-long special premiere. Aniplex USA describes the synopsis as:
The Hashira, the Demon Slayer Corps’ highest ranking swordsmen and members. The Hashira Training has begun in order to face the forthcoming battle against Muzan Kibutsuji. Each with their own thoughts and hopes held in their hearts, a new story for Tanjiro and the Hashira begins.
The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba series is based on the Shueisha-published manga by Koyoharu Gotouge, which began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2016 and ended in 2020 with 23 tankoubon volumes. The other anime entries include the 2019 first season, the 2020 movie Demon Slayer – Kimetsu No Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train, the 2021 TV broadcast version of Mugen Train, and December 2021 to February 2022’s Entertainment District Arc.
Viz Media describes the manga as:
Learning to destroy demons won’t be easy, and Tanjiro barely knows where to start. The surprise appearance of another boy named Giyu, who seems to know what’s going on, might provide some answers—but only if Tanjiro can stop Giyu from killing his sister first!
