Azuki and Dentsu announced the release of a new three-part anime anthology series Enter The Garden on April 30, 2024, with the first part titled “The Waiting Man.” The anime will stream in Japanese with English subtitles on Azuki’s website and YouTube channel. The next two episodes will premiere within the next few months.
A 49-second trailer and key visual for Enter The Garden’s first episode were released.
Goro Taniguchi (Back Arrow, One Piece Film Red) is credited as the creative producer for the anthology series, with Junichi Yamamoto (Haigakura, Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke’s Mansion) as director, Taku Kishimoto (The Deer King, Fruits Basket 2019) as scriptwriter, and Kinu Nishimura (Sirius the Jaeger) as character designer. Azuki, Dentsu, Qzil.la, and IMAGICA Infos are handling the series’ animation production.
The cast for “The Waiting Man” includes Tomokazu Sugita as T.K, Akari Kito as Haru, and Jun Fukuyama as an undisclosed character.
Azuki describes the premise of “The Waiting Man” as:
Haru, a free-spirited skater, has always felt like a misfit in a world where she’s constantly told how to behave. One day, Haru meets T.K., a mysterious man sitting next to a vending machine, waiting for someone to appear.
