A July premiere month has been revealed for the Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest anime adaptation. A set of teaser visuals, featuring main characters Natsu, Lucy, Gray, Erza, and Wendy, has been released as well.
The show’s staff includes Shinji Ishihira (Edens Zero, Fairy Tail director) as chief director, Toshinori Watanabe (Edens Zero) as director, Atsuhiro Tomioka (Captain Tsubasa: Junior Youth Arc) as series composer, Yurika Sako (Edens Zero) as character designer, and Takanashi Yasuharu (Tsukimichi Moonlit Fantasy) as music composer. J.C.STAFF is the animation production studio.
The returning cast includes Tetsuya Kakihara as Natsu Dragneel, Aya Hirano as Lucy Heartfilia, Rie Kugimiya as Happy, Yuuichi Nakamura as Gray Fullbuster, Sayaka Oohara as Erza Scarlet, Satomi Satou as Wendy Marvell, and Yui Horie as Charles.
Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest manga began in 2018 as a sequel to Hiro Mashima‘s 2006 to 2017 series Fairy Tail, with story and layouts by Mashima and art by Atsuo Ueda. It is serialized on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket and will release its 17th tankoubon volume on April 9.
