A Gorilla no Kami kara Kagosareta Reijou wa Ouritsu Kishidan de Kawaigarareru TV anime adaptation has been announced for 2025.
Gorilla no Kami kara Kagosareta Reijou wa Ouritsu Kishidan de Kawaigarareru started as a Shousetsuka ni Narou web novel by Shirohi in 2020. A manga adaptation of the romantic comedy, drawn by Mika Kamisu, began serialization in 2021 on FLOS COMIC and has five tankoubon volumes as of May 2024.
The story is set in a world where people receive the divine protection of an animal god upon turning 16. The protagonist, Sophia, is the timid daughter of a count who receives the protection of the powerful Gorilla God. While Sophia originally wished to have a peaceful school life, her rare power causes her to be scouted by the royal knights, who have promising young members among their ranks.
