An anime adaptation of the Hazure Skill “Ki no Kinomi Master” ~Skill no Mi (Tabetara Shinu) o Mugen ni Taberareru you ni Natta Ken ni Tsuite~ fantasy manga has been announced.
The Kodansha-published, Ea Matsukoto-illustrated manga, which is based on a story by Yasutaka Isekawa, follows Light, a boy who aspires to be the greatest adventurer in history. After eating a skill-granting fruit, he gains a cultivation ability, in contrast to his childhood friend who is bestowed with a swordsman skill. Days of farming pass, until chance causes Light to consume a second skill fruit. While this would normally be fatal, Light’s power allows him to gain more abilities instead, a fact that reopens his path to becoming an adventurer.
The Hazure Skill “Ki no Kinomi Master” manga is serialized in Suiyoubi no Sirius and will release its sixth tankoubon volume on June 7, 2024. Isekawa originally wrote Hazure Skill “Ki no Kinomi Master” as a web novel, which debuted on Shousetsuka ni Narou on 2020. A light novel volume illustrated by Yasutaka Isekawa was released under the K Ranobe Books label in May 2022.
