It’s still 2024, but hololive’s Houshou Marine has already dropped yet another anime music video. The Sanzigen production is for the VTuber’s new original song “How About Pai Pai Mask?” (“Pai Pai Kamen de Doukashiran”) and has Marine targeting a valuable gem.
In addition to the heisting and the inclusion of an anthropomorphic animal, the video features Marine dancing and swaying in a masked costume and an exotic dancer getup.
The “How About Pai Pai Mask?” music video was released the same day as the announcement of Marine’s first solo live concert, Ahoy!! You’re All Pirates♡! (Ahoy!! Kimitachi Minna Pirates ♡). The concert will be held on December 7 and 8 JST at K Arena Yokohama.
Earlier this year, the popular VTuber released anime music videos for the spunky Kobo Kanaeru duet “III” and for “Dead Ma’am’s Chest.” Both songs are part of the tracklist for Marine’s first album (also called Ahoy!! You’re All Pirates♡!), which will be released on October 16 JST.
