Idea Factory has announced that the Nintendo Switch release of the Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth series has been postponed indefinitely. Further details from the company will be provided at a later date.
The titles in the Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth series were originally set to be released digitally on the Nintendo eShop on May 21, 2024. The titles in the series include Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1, Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 2 Sisters Generation, and Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3 V Generation.
Compile Heart’s Neptunia JRPG franchise started with Hyperdimension Neptunia in 2010. In addition to several video game sequels and spin-offs, the series also inspired a 2013 TV anime series from David Production and three OVA specials from Okuruto Noboru in 2019, 2021, and 2022.
